Leaving Manta

It has been a bittersweet goodbye.

We've made many great friends here, and although we've no doubt that we'll be back, it's still the end of a chapter.

After two weeks of goodbye-lunches and dinners with friends, our final night and morning were spent on our beloved balcony, watching the waves. Then we headed off to Guayaquil for the night of the 29 January, where, after 3 years (!!!) we happily met our beloved Spanish teacher, Paola.

In the evening of 30 January, we caught an overnight flight to Buenos Aires, accessing our apartment around 8:00am on the 31st.

It was a long journey, but everything went smoothly, and we're settling into our little home for the next two months!
